This campaign is funny and the illustrations are nice. I am not sure about everything else like the typography and the layout but if the humor actually works a lot can be forgiven, right?

Fascinating project by Aaron Zinman out of MIT shows you how the internet sees you.
“Upon entering a name, it scours the Internet looking for characterizing statements to use in its analysis. After suitable information has been found, the viewer watches as the machine tries to make sense of the displayed text. Once it has reached its final conclusions, the resulting ‘Personas’ vector is displayed and annotated with a minimal legend.”

Youtube Play is a collaboration between Youtube & the Guggenheim Museum. They are calling for all video artists to submit their videos to the collaboration’s channel
“A jury of experts will decide which works presented at the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum in New York on October 21, 2010 with simultaneous presentations at the Guggenheim museums in Berlin, Bilbao, and Venice. The videos will be on view to the public from October 22 through 24 in New York and on the YouTube Play channel.”
A few local Tel Avivian music scene kings have decided to open a popup radio station/bar. You can either chill at the bar and give your ears some love or you can hear it streamed live here (2pm – till the last leftover drunk)
The beauty of this project is that it will only last 120 sticky sexy summer days.
Another beautiful thing is the flow of it all; the djs’ styles are random and orgasmic at the same time & the bar and tone of the whole project is warm, local & fresh.

“The ads are being filmed and photographed in Braddock, Pa., which attracted national attention in the last year for attempts by the mayor, John Fetterman, to address the dire straits of the town after decades of economic decline.
Levi Strauss executives plan to put their money where their pants are, donating more than a million dollars over a two-year period to assist Braddock in renovating a community center and further developing an urban farming program.”
